Research has shown individuals who experience maladaptive functioning often experience unconscious physiological patterns of the body and have brainwaves that are not useful for what is trying to be accomplished.

Biofeedback uses electronic instrumentation to monitor specific physiological responses, while Neurofeedback monitors brain waves specific to these responses, each "feeding back" the information to the client. Once the client is aware of what the body and the brain are doing, each can be retrained.  Some facilities offer one of these options for retraining but our process includes the effectiveness of both when working on issues.

  • Biofeedback & Neurofeedback are non-pharmacological methods of effectively treating and managing:
  • Pain management
  • Mood disorders
  • Sleep disorder issues
  • Anxiety, including trauma related issues
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
  • Substance Abuse when offered along with traditional treatment modalities.
    • (Note, research with a 4-year follow up showed 20% of traditionally treated clients remained clean/sober.   Yet, 80% of clients treated using neurofeedback in conjunction with traditional modalities, remained clean/sober.)

These therapies provide long-term solutions for clients and resources beyond the therapy room.
