Peer Coaching

Peer Recovery Coaching is a certified peer-based coaching service that provides guidance for clients as they navigate the challenges that come up due to their addictions or mental health issues, and helps them work toward the goal of living a new way of life.

Peer Recovery Coaches help individuals seeking and sustaining recovery to build a foundation in the recovery community through meetings, groups, events, and fellowship.

Coaches also can provide resources available in the community to help support a healthier lifestyle and needs. Some of these resources include housing options, transportation, food, clothing, health providers, etc. Furthermore, coaching can help recoverees focus on new skills learned during therapy sessions and practice using them in everyday life.

It is a priority for clients to understand their story, advocate for themselves, and learn to set boundaries. Life skills such as budgeting, time-management, and when to prioritize self-care are also addressed.  Other modalities used in session include breathwork, meditation, music, art, and many other creative pathways to healing.

I’m not telling you it’s going to be easy – I’m telling you it’s going to be worth it.
